Q + A

What time should I arrive?

Please plan to arrive by 5:00 PM so you’re seated before the ceremony begins at 5:15 PM. If you do arrive late, enter quietly and take the nearest available seat to avoid disrupting the service.

What is the dress code?

Semi-formal — think sundresses or cocktail dresses for women; sport coats, slacks, or dress shirts for men (ties optional). Since the wedding is outdoors in Queen Creek, AZ on November 7, consider layering: a light jacket or shawl for the evening. Comfortable dress shoes are recommended for walking on grass.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes — we’ll have a selection of beer and wine, plus seltzers, canned margaritas, and canned Jack Daniels punch. There will be no shots or other hard liquor.

What will the weather be like?

Expect sunny, mild days with slightly crisp mornings and cool evenings—great for layering. Afternoons should be pleasantly warm, while nights may feel sweater- or light-jacket-worthy; a fire pit (which we will have!) will likely be cozy.

Is the whole wedding outside?

Yes — both the ceremony and reception will be outdoors in a meadow. We’ll have heaters available if needed; evenings can be cooler, so consider bringing a light layer.

Are kids allowed?

We adore your little ones, but the celebration is adults-only except for children in the couple’s immediate family.

Will there be vegetarian options for dinner?

Yes — we’ll offer vegetarian and other dietary options. If you have specific restrictions or allergies, please contact Tucker or McKennah (contact info at the bottom of this page) and we’ll make arrangements.

Will there be an after party?

No official after-party is planned, but feel free to keep the celebration going — several local spots are open late if you want to continue the night. We won’t say no to keeping the night going! McKennah and Tucker love the bars in downtown Gilbert.

Can I record the ceremony?

We’re having a phones-free ceremony — please keep phones and all recording devices put away so everyone can be present and enjoy the moment.

Is there parking?

Yes — there’s plenty of parking on-site. We encourage carpooling and rideshares when possible; follow venue signs for the main lot and accessible parking.

Can I bring my gift to the wedding?

Your presence is the greatest gift — but if you’d like to bring one, feel free to do so or use our registry.

How can I contact either of you?
